Polk SDA info!

I am considering the plunge into the SDA line. Someone is selling a pair of (he says) mint SDA SRS speakers. They have 3 tweeters and 6 drivers. He paid $1200.00 a piece years ago for them. What model are they and are what would be a fair price. He does have the cable, but not the boxes. Thanks, Jeff

Jeff, those are most likely are either the 2.3's or the 2.3TL's. The 2.3's range from $600 to $800, although a pair just sold on Audiogon in the $1200.00 range. The 2.3TL's range from $900.00 to $1200.00 on average, but $1500.00 isn't unheard of. The 2.3TL's are the ones you heard at my house.

May be 2.3TL. Price can be anywhere. I've got 1200 total in a pair of SRS 2 and 2.3TL. Good speakers if you've got room for them.

When new, the 2.3TLs had a list price of $1249 each. Maybe you'll get lucky and that's what they are.

Got them! They 2.3's with the hockey pucks and are in mint condition. I will post pics after I find someone to help me get them out of the van! They are HEAVY!!!. I can't believe I am going to join the "weird" SDA club!:) Thanks for the help! Jeff

Congrats on your new SDA's! A warning, once you have one pair you'll want more:D I have the SRS 2.3's and I love them.

Now you can look forward to the crossover upgrades;) Did you get the A-1 interconnect with them?

Go to the sticky with the SDA playlist and try some of those tunes, you'll be amazed!

This is absolutely true. By the time I was done I had two pair of CRS+, Studio 1Cs, Standard 1C's, 2.3's, SDA-SRS and 1.2's.

You will want to upgrade the tweets sometime.
