I need recommendations for a sub. I just purchased Lsi25s, but want to add a separate sub. Considering SVS or Hsu, but not sure which model.
Onkyo TX-SR803 (as preamp)
Outlaw 7700 amp
Denon DVD-3910
LSi25 fronts
LSiC center
LsiFX surrounds
Infinity Primus 160 rears (I know. I'll Polk them later!)
I'm also a little confused on bass management to balance the LSi25 sub with the separate. Thanks for any help!

Welcome. If considering SVS, give them a call or email. They will help you select the most suitable sub based on budget, room size, listening requirements...
I own a PB12-PLUS and am very pleased with the performance.

Paradigm Servo-15 V2 would be my recommendation. :)

SVS is excellent. I own one. I also have owned an Outlaw Audio LFM1 which was terrific for the money. What's your budget?

Another + on the svs, in a 5000 cubic foot room my pb12 isd/v sits in a corner about 13 feet from the couch and with the receivers sub level at -10 and the sub amp level at about two fifths during high bass scenes the couch actually moves a bit, and this is on carpeted concrete floors.

Another vote for the SVS. I have the PB12-NSD which is one of their entry level models and it packs plenty of punch nice flat response all they way down to 20Hz and a smidge lower and blends seamlessly with my mains, center, and surrounds.
