The floorstanders look like KG4.5's. Not sure on the rest.

I agree on the floorstanders. The bookshelves look like KG 2.5. No idea on the "center"--maybe a KV-3??

That's probably around $75-100 under blue book for the lot (assuming we've correctly identified them.)

Not bad. I bet those towers can kick you in the nuts.
Are you getting the set?

I passed on them. I don't need any more speaks in the house!
Seems like you could split that group up and flip em for a profit. I guess that would depend on their condition, though. I'd like to hear those 4.5s on tube gear.

Heh, checking out the local Craigslist? Saw that exact picture browsing as well ;)
The last couple of days I've missed on two great deals on the washington dc craigs: A pair of mint Polk SDA 2.3s for $150 and a good pair B&W DM602 for $50. *sigh*

Those are not kg4's or 4.5's. They are kg 4.2's. Good speakers, not great. I have a set of the kg4's that I used to use. They are not bad speakers with a tube amp. I would even say they are good. Not a bad price, and with their 94-98 effiecency they would be an awsome ht system with a low powered reciever.
