i am setting up the schools pa system in the large sports hall for a stars in their eyes contest at the end of the school year (3 weeks ish) i talked to some tech's and they said i could set it up and mix the live sound but. my fraind thought that he was dooing the same job but he spoke to a pe teacher. (she must have something to do with organising it) so me and my mate went to speak to the pe teathcer. she said to us that we could set the system up but two girls the next year up were mixing the sound. :( DAM! she wouldent let us so i said it would take a long time to set up. she gave us one whole day to setup.:D

we are using:
rcf art 300 (speakers not big enougth)
soundcraft spirit folio sx (mixer)
tda 200wpch amp (not big enought for the event)
denon cdplayer
denon tape deck
vairiouse mics
(school had 7 rcf wirless mics last year now they onley have two)
and some wired mics
proberly a electric guitar through a di box.
school dont however have a proper drumkit mic.

Politics at such a young age................set it up with lots of feedback and they probably will have to ask for help with the mixing.
