Has anyone heard their song off of the B&W promotional CD that went around a while back? If you have, could you confirm that ALL of their CDs sound THAT good?

And for those of you not in the know, B&W released a promo DVD to show off the 800 series. The DVD included a bunch of very well recorded songs!

The Crystal Method song on there has gotta be the BEST sounding rock recording Ive ever heard.

Crystal Method is decent, but it's not real Trance which is my fav. genre.
They kinda remind me of an edgier eiffel 65 or DJ Doboy.

The song on the DVD is from their CD "Legion of Boom" - and its a rock song, I noticed they do alot of trance.

BUT MAN - I wish all rock was recorded this way... the guitars are seperated to the left and right, and I mean like one is in the room beside me and the other is in the den... lol

Have you heard Tiesto's new In Search of Sunris 5? Saw him spin live for that... amazing stuff there. That man is a genius.

I'm not a fan of Crystal Method. Their music just isn't my style I guess.

Speaking of Tiesto, have you heard the "he's a pirate remix" from the new pirates of the caribbean movie? Wow, now that's a kick ass song.

yup. good stuff.

Armin Van Buuren, DJ GT and John Digweed are the three best at what they do imo.

TCM is absolutely amazing live!!! Seen them twice and patiently waiting for a third chance. Loudest damn concert I've ever been to but man... Born to slow is actually one of my least favorite tracks they've come out with. Their newest album (London soundtrack) is pretty good but I don't think you'll beat their debut "Vegas." By far the best album I've heard by any producer(s) from front to back.

The best DJs for what he does I think has to be Christopher Lawrence and Paul van Dyk. Great stuff. I like a few Oakenfold and Tiesto stuff but they've gone WAY to mainstream. Guess it pays the bills but it's not what they were about.

yeah... if u like the crystal method, there is a compilation series you should check out called "Euro Club Hits" --

it's pretty clear that dance music is coming back in the around the world -- just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B hits which are clear rip-offs of the european dance style.....

here's the direct itunes link to the "Euro Club Hits" series.....

C.M. makes the most groundbreaking, widely sampled, and genre bending 'techno' music out there, bar none. Vegas and Tweakend are two must have albums for anybody who is remotely interested in electronic music. These two guys spend hours and hours creating new sounds and each album is filled with 'hits', if you can call them that. Although most electronic music barely breaks into the 'charts', I think that most people will recognize almost every song off of Vegas, because the album was heavily sampled for use in movie soundtracks and radio/TV commercials. To answer Sid's original question, YES, every album is that well recorded, BUT, it is definitely not all Rock music.

EDIT: DOH, I didn't realize this was such an old thread. I hadn't finished my first cup of coffee. Leave it to a newbie to dredge up an ancient thread for no apparent reason.

wow, I remember this thread. Still waiting for a 3rd chance to see them live! The soundtrack to London had some pretty good stuff but it was also "forced" in a way.
