I got this model for the 'rents a year or so ago.

All universal remotes suck. Thats just how things are. However, in the world of affordable remotes, the Harmony's lead the way. They are easy to program and simple to operate - made for you, me, grandma, the dog...

The extra cool factor is that there is a lot of program profiles people upload, which also includes quite a bit of hi-fi gear. I actually had to *try* and find exotic equipment that wasn't available for a quick download.

I really do not understand that statement. I could not live without my universal remote. Instead of 8 remotes, I have one. On top of that it controls my lighting and fireplace.

Maybe I am taking this out of context but personally the only thing that would suck is if we did not have a choice to have universal remotes.
