Anthem Amp 1 - Modded
Push pull EL34, with upgraded Jensen caps. One 12AX7 on the front end, along with a pair of 12AU7. 40~watts per channel, 4 and 8 ohm taps. Wonderful sounding amplifier. 9/10 on cosmetics, super clean with original box. Top case included.
Ships with a quad of matched NOS JAN Richardson (East German) EL34, Amperex 12AX7 Bugle Boy driver, and a pair of NOS JAN 6189 (mil spec 12AU7) on the front end. Tubes alone are worth near $200. First one with the cash gets it, period.
I've wanted to keep it, but I'm picking up some big NHT to play with for a while, so I'm going to look at something solid state.
$550 shipped.

2.1's
Mid to late 90's floorstander, $1700/pair retail. Two 6.5 inch woofs in the bottom section, one 6.5 and a soft dome on top. Slanted front, piano black, yada yada.....
I had 2.5's at one time, and have always regretted selling them.

Yes they do. The Big Badass Blue Caps to be specific.

This would naturally be a perfect match for the Anthem Pre1L or Pre2L if anyone owns such an animal. If you own a SS pre-amplifier, with efficient speakers...it would warm up the end result simply by nature.
If you're afraid of tubes, this isn't the time to be wary. It's a great piece of gear, plain and simple. This is the type of piece that causes serious impact and selling of other gear.

I'll vouch, love my anthem 1 so far, ballsy for 40 watts. does my bozaks nice, with plenty of power to spare.
this one is modded for 50 bucks more than I paid, sounds like a hell of a deal to me.
dude, you couldnt sell this a couple of weeks ago? CMON DUDE :D

its allright bud, Doro's right on the timing. if I would have waited I wouldnt have bought it anyway. I'm on work furlough until the budget crisis in the state of NJ is resolved (state shut down). could be weeks, could be months. Luckily I have savings to tide me over, so I'm not near defcon 1 yet, but others in my staff are not so lucky

I can't believe this thing isn't sold yet.
WTF, over? This could be the last amp you would ever need or want.

I've got a buddy who needs a good 2 ch. amp for his RTi10's. Is this plenty enough power for them?? I'm cherry when it comes to tubes.

It's plenty, but spoken for as of this AM.
I might have another one, unmodded coming up for sale soon.
