old velodyne sub

Ok I just bought myself a used velodyne sub model V-810-B and when I stated to turn up the volume to an audible level it became quite apparent that the woofer was blown :(. As it stands I would like to just replace the woofer but the box is sealed with a non removable grill. Does anyone have any experience with this model or series, and might have a clue about how I can go about this?
