I bought a package at Best Buy for about 320 dollars which came with almost everything I needed for my subwoofers in my car, the enclosure, amp, subs, and I bought the amp kit seperately. Somehow after two months my subs blew unexpectedly and I ran it by Best Buy with only the warranty for INstallation and they said they would need the actual receipt to replace the subs. So I Looked and looked for it and can't find it anywhere. I know, stupid me. Crap happens though. So Now I am stuck with an amp, enclosure and amo kit but no subs and I started looking for new ones and I found some that have gotten really good reviews but I don't know how well it would work with my previous equipment. I'm still pretty ignorant to how all this works. BUt here is the enlosure, amp kit, and amp I have.

Last but not least these are the subs I was looking at. I just want to know how it would sound with all my previous Equipment. Any Advice is apprectiated.

And if this helps these are my old subs, I dont really know how much better it would sound with those other subs.

The Kicker subs will be about 10 times the sub those Power Acoustic were. Kicker is a competition level manufacturer where PA is a budget, entry level brand.

so im guessing those would be worth it, but my main question out of all this is would it work well with my previous equipment like my amp and enclosure and amp kit

No.

The box is too small. Youd need about a 1.6 ft3 box. Plus, the amp is way too small. Those subs need at least 500 watts each to push em properly. The 280 of your amp wont do them justice.

Get a pair of Polk Audio DB124's. Theyd match up better to the amp but the box would still be a smidge too small. They would still work tho but theyd have a response hump in them.

Thats actually an odd box. I dont know of too many 12's that can work in a .6 box which is what youd need if you want to stick a pair of them in that 1.2 box.

The box specs say that it is 1.25 cu ft of air space per woofer. You could get some nice woofers that would perform very well in that box.

New thought, What if I purchased the same subs I had before but along with them I bought another Amp. How would that work out

whatever you do... don't buy from best buy... i used to work for them and if you're lookin to get ripped off beyond your wildest dreams, then go for it. if not, find either a real local car audio shop, or buy offline
