Just letting you all know that on top of the release of SFII HF and the Saint's Row Demo we now have a Dead Rising Demo all in one week! I think my head is going to pop. :p

The Demo was fun, but it pissed me off with the load times everytime you try to get to a new part of the game. Pretty limited demo, but it sure was fun. I think they would have done better to put a little more into the demo.

Yeah it is kind of annoying that you download a 1GB demo and all you can do is run around the main area then when you try to leave it you see a cut scene and you have to start over. It does seem that it will be a pretty solid game one it comes out on Wednesday.

It was a pretty big d/l for a demo.

Still, kind of fun smacking golf balls at zombies and watching them explode.

...watch out, if you put the horses head on, it's pretty tough to get off.

Erm...WTF? I went to Best Buy -- nothing, and no slot for it. Then I went to WalMart across the street and same story. Does anyone know what the deal was? I heard at one point it was being pushed back to the 22nd, but all of the online stores I checked had it on sale today, including Amazon....

My roommate said it was nowhere in stores around here today too. However they said at EBGames that they would be getting it in tomorrow.

The game is crazy fun but it can be frustrating at times. The mall is absolutely enormous!

Well, even on my second disc, apparently I will be waiting for a patch. I can't get past the helipad on the mall unless I take my hard drive off. Then I can't save. Whats the point? I guess I'll play anyways. Aaagh. I hate uber buggy releases.

Well, I took off the HD last night and played for a couple hours anyways. Its a pretty fun game. I am glad I bought it. The graphics are pretty great. The cut scenes are very nice.

The game is really damn good, I need some more time to play it, though. One thing that I didn't like was I had to walk through the mall, outside, and to the other doors, only to get shot and killed by some lunatic after I had done like 3other missions. Basically you can only load your last saved game, so I had to do it all over again.

Yeah, I see that you can only have one save file too. Don't see that all too much anymore. Forces replaying, which to be honest, I sort of like.

It sucks for someone like me who usually isn't sitting there playing a game for hours on end. I usually play for 30 minutes to an hour, and then go do something else. I guess that's why I don't like it.

I think the game is fantastic...minus the save feature which just blows. I have to effing search for a bathroom to save? Are you kidding me? But what do you expect from Capcom...they did that through out Resident Evil.

BTW- The Cut scenes are the best I have ever seen.

This game gets better and better. I really wish they would make more games like this. It has the interactive feel of a game like GTA with great graphics. I like that you can start the game over with the high levels under your belt if you want to.

The bosses or 'psychopaths', as they call them, are really tough. I had to try to take out an insane clown who juggles chainsaws. Fortunately I found a store with chainsaws of my own. :cool:

Time is a biotch in this game. I have had to completely start over on 2 different occasions doing to missions turning red. So far I have gotten to case 3. I can't wait to beat the game so I can actually explore without a time limit.

No, it's not easy. Just because of the clock factor. I'm about halfway done with the missions, and I have started over like 10 times at this point. Let me just say that the Excavator weapon is by far the best that I have come across so far -- just wait until you see it. :eek:

Ugh, this shit blows. I have like no time left, and I am on the last boss in the game before I beat it. I think I am just going to give it a rest for a while and come back to it later. This guy is impossible to take down.

In any event I am level 27, and so far my biggest achievment is taking down over 10,000 Zombies on one save path. Cheap that its only worth 20 points.

Ah well, love this game, and I hope more of these come out under the same franchise name. :D

It was cool as soon as I figured out how to use it. I was like WTF :confused: for the longest time. Same thing with the shopping carts. I kept spinning in circles.

They're really good. Best I've seen? No, but the gameplay is amazing and that's #1 -- graphics are second.

Well, I killed The Butcher tonight. So tough. I don't know if there is more after that, but I am at the mission titled "The Facts," which is the last one.

Well, I beat the game. Although there is still lots more to do. I didn't save it when I finished it so I can get a better ending. I won't spoil it for anyone, but it's definitely an interesting set of endings you can have. :D

We may not always see eye to eye on speaker cables, but this just ate up a good portion of my life. Good stuff

:( That sucks. You should give it another try. It's non-stop fun, IMO. I got the "A" ending last night, which is pretty sweet. I don't know if it's the super best most awesome ending or not, but it was a grade A. Like I said, I won't spoil it for the rest of you.

Just beat Adam the clown, then forgot to save, went outside, met the humvee convicts right away, got mowed down, lost all progress.
