for anyone whose been watching my system progress (for starters, hopefully you're having as much fun as I am :-P) I have another upgrade I am now debating. I want to get a better speaker cable, however I'm debating between a few.

For starters, I'm currently using Sound King 10awg oxygen free copper just good 'ol cheap zip wire, terminated with 24ct gold plated banana plugs.

I was thinking of going with either the Cobalt "Ultimate Speaker Cable"
http://www.cobaltcable.com/pair_speaker_cable.htm

or the Zebra sp10sd
http://zebracables.com/sp10sd.html

If anyone has their input on personal experience with either of these two, or, a recommendation in the same price range, I'm all ears. I'm leaning towards the Cobalt, however the zebra is a tad cheaper.

Why isn't Signal Cable (http://www.signalcable.com) an option? I just checked them quickly, but it looks like the Zebra or Signal would be cheaper.

What are your requirements? Length?

I built an HT for a buddy based on Cobalt(BULK), and he hasn't complained to date.

BFA, Scosche and Vampire Wire are all top notch terminations.

Check the flea market for pearsoll's offer on a spool of magnet wire he has. It's the same exact material used in Anti-Cable's wiring.

I believe he is offering it for 35 cents a foot. I just brought in a 6ft pair for $11.50 shipped to my door.

Frank over at Signal Cable allows for a 30 day trial period - wire isn't expensive to ship back thats for sure...

Give them both a whirl... Of course, I know which one you'll keep if performance is priority..... :)

I'm going for a pure 2 channel set up here... we're talkin 2-3 meter lengths tops. probably 3 meter it'd give me some room to play.
