Hey guys. I'm fixen to buy the db212 2 sub box but was wondering what amp what fit the bill. I have it narrowed down to three amps: Profile AP1000M, Kicker ZX750.1, and the Polk 500.1 amp. I really want the Kicker but the Profile is really cheap and good reviews but the Polk would be same brand. Help me please!!! Oh and is the db212 rated at 720 or 750 rms. I believe the correct rms is 750.

So I should get the Polk amp? It's only 500 watts though and I wanted to give them adequate power. The Kicker puts out 750 and Kicker always underrates their amps so really I would be getting over 800 watts for sure. I know they can handle that cause I know a guy who has 1100 watts going to his 212-2 with a Kicker amp. Is the Polk made better, better sq, what? What's wrong with the Kicker?

If you want the Kicker, get it. A watt is a watt.
However the Polk amp is rated at 500 but makes 600. Also, it is built quite a bit better than the Kicker.
