I had a JBL setup that included E30 mains,EC35 center, and E10 surrounds awhile back. I got them from B&H photo at very good prices. They are pretty good budget speakers. But my RTi's are much better.

Well I guess that just about sums it up right?

I guess that post was a little short. So let me add to it. The JBL's aren't really that bad especially for what I paid for them. They are good for HT use, not that good for music IMO. The E30's bass was boomy for music and the midrange was muddy to me.HomeTheater, if you are thinking about swapping your M30's for some JBL's I wouldn't do it. The M30's (T20EB) are fine speakers. I actually prefer those T20EB's to the M30's as I like the tweeter on top of the woofer design better. Plus they are real wood veneer instead of vinyl.

I had a pair of E20 and I can't stand the tweets. Way harsh. They didn't last that long in my house, but they are doing fine in the owners place

Well JBL has many different lines that range from budget to $20,000 a pair speakers so its hard to say. Northridge series seems like polks monitor series, but their higher end series like project array & K2 have gotten great reviews.
