Just bought two sets of Polk Momo 6.5 speakers for my truck. I bought a set of 6.5 components for the front and a set of 6.5 coaxs for the rear. I also bought a c4004 4 channel amp to power them. I already have a JL 10' sub and amp installed that gets signal from the rear speaker feeds. My stock head unit doesn't have rca outs. What is the best way to wire this set up.
PS I am not looking for the easiest way but the best way with my stock 6 disc in dash head:)
Thank in advance for any info

The best way to hook up a stock HU is to use one of Dave Navone's adaptors.http://www.davidnavone.com/adaptor_products.htm

I was told that the c4004 allows one to hook up speaker level inputs to the amp. You just need to splice your speakers to a set of rca cables and set the input on the amp to hi. Or am I missing something?

That is the way the Polk amp will accept speaker level inputs, but Cody is right that high level inputs are not the best way to go.
Actually the best way would be to use a processor like JL's Clean Sweep or something from Audiocontrol that will clean up and boost the signal before it gets to the amp.
And dont buy anything from Navone. He's a penis.

Would a JL clean sweep have a pre out for the sub or a low pass out. Should I wire up the rest of the system as front and rear coax per Polks instructions

The Clean Sweep has pretty much anything you want on it.

There is also the Rockford Fosgate 360.1 - http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/product_details.asp?cat_id=1&series_id=49&family_id=50&item_id=106185&locale=en_US
And about a hundred different processors from Audiocontrol - http://www.mobileaudiocontrol.com/dept.asp?d_id=17612&l1=17612

360.1>cleansweep
both of those are if you never want to upgrade your factory stereo though. Otherwise, just get the navone unit.
