I don't recall where I found this, possibly on this forum, but I thought this was a really helpful piece of info. If someone knows if it was previously posted, due credit should be applied. This is an awesome piece of info IMO.

Are they watching through binoculars? WTF is with 15 feet for a 42'' when watching DVD? I can't see the pixels edge from 6' away. A panels driver has to be taken in to account. Most have some scalability.
