TOOL concert

Just got home from the TOOL concert at the Allstate Arena in Chicago / Rosemont. Undoubtedly tied for the best show I've ever seen (NIN, 10-07-05). I can't really put it into words - you have to go see these guys live. I could've smuggled a camera in but my wife didn't want to risk losing it. Sorry everybody.

Just heard on the radio that the Madison, WI. show was cancelled. Doctor told Maynard "not to sing "The Pot", you guys make great pizza, the Bears, f*ck it!" Do I have that (quote) right Demi? Ya too bad on the cameras, oh well.

Maynard was extremely ill back stage. It was completely obvious. You could not tell at all during the concert. I know they have to feel bad cancelling tonight, and postponing in San Antonio last week. They just won't do a show unless they can give it their all.

I've seen a couple of interviews with the band and I know what you mean.

I'm glad (and thankful) I got to experience the show & I feel bad for all the cancellations but Maynard isn't going to be any good to anybody if he keeps pushing it.

Too bad you didn't let me know you were coming down. :( Coulda had a meet and greet. I live 15 minutes away from the Allstate Arena.
