Have been rockin that album for a week now. For Krall fans, I'd say its definately not her best effort, or recording for that matter. Still, worth checking out.

Which is her best CD in your opinion?

I have to say: Live in Paris, for two reasons:
1. Live performance (always my preference, given the choice)
2. She sang classic/pop/standard tunes, which in itself have the appeal.

I bought the new Diana Krall this weekend. I paid $14.99:( The good part is it sounds great. Some nice jazz standards. Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer and others. A lot more horns in some of the music passages. Great sound and her haunting voice. Greet CD for jazz fans who like the old standards. I highly recommend it!

I've got to make a small ammendment to my previous statement. After giving it a few more listen's... I've warmed up to it. While I am partial to the classic artists and their interpretations - Diana does her thing well in this album.

Phooey. I guess I missed out on the low price. I'm not typically a fan of this style music, but I thought I'd try it out for $10.

Just got done listening to the full album. More great SQ as to be expected. Much jazzier this time around for her. And to me, thats a good thing. I like brass and plenty of it. All and all, its more of the same, and the same is good.
