If you don't like the prices make an offer, they all need to go otherwise they are going "south"(except for the beatles of course)

I think the hesitance is your lack of grading for each album. The sellers who have moved vinyl through here have provided a minimum grade for the lot, or individual grades for the vinyl.

Here is a link to the Goldmine grading system. (http://www.recordcollectorsguild.org/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=viewarticle&artid=17&page=1)

I would have to say VG+ based on that for almost all of them. Some of them still have plastic wrap around the cases, others look like they were played once or twice. Unfortunately for me, these were before my time(im 21), so I honestly couldnt tell a good surface from a bad one, thus whichever people want, I can take close up pics of them and post and I will do my best to answer any questions reguarding them.

Well, I have decided since I really don't know how to grade these albums, all albums except for the beatles album are free now. I have no use for them. So long as you pay shipping I will ship you any of the albums you want.

The only catch is after you receive the albums you need to post stating the condition this way for future I have a better understanding of how to grade them.

For the cost of shipping I'd like:

Air Supply - Greatest Hits
Billy Joel - Songs in the Attic
Bob Seger - Nine Tonight
Bruce Springsteen - Born In the U.S.A
Elvis - Gold Records
Neil Diamond - Shilo
Phil Collins - Hello, I must be going!
Phil Collins - No Jacket Required

Is 'Papas & Mamas' anything like The Mommas and the Poppas? If so, I'll take it, too.

The only catch is, I don't have a TT in my system, so it would probably be a while before I could spin all of them and report back on their condition. I could probably report back on three or four fairly quickly using Dad's TT, but not all of them.

Let me know how much shipping is expected to be using media mail, and I'll get a MO out to you as soon as possible.

Burning Vinyl Chloride (albums) will produce a plethora of toxic gases including dioxins (extremely carcinogenic!)

Not recommended.

If you want to get frustrations out, simply destroy them mechanically (like with a hammer, vice, wood chipper, weed whacker, lawn mower, etc.
OR use them for target practice!

Sorry Doro, I didn't notice you had plans for the Olivia. If/when I play it, I will switch to my OLD worn out stylus and think of the vinyl damage that is being done. Ok?

That Paul Revere & The Raiders album? The little guy all the way on the right side? SMOKIN' drummer named Smitty.

I think he looks pretty bitchin' in those tights too.

Ok,
Its been a while, but I finally got a chance to clean and listen to most of what BaggedLancer (Mark) sent me and I'm happy to say, most of what he sent was VG at least. Mark was very fast at shipping these out and I was able to enjoy some of them that very next weekend. I haven't had a chance to look at all the Jack Jones, so I just focused on the Best of.

I'll put grades next to the album list (I'm only scoring the vinyl. Assume the jackets are all VG or better:

Asia- (VG+ or NM)
Beach Boys - Best of the Beach Boys (Good)
Bernstein Tchaikovsky- Symphony Number 1 (VG)
Elton John - Here and There (VG+)
Genesis - Invisible Touch (NM)
Jack Jones - Michel Legrand
Jack Jones - The Best of Jack Jones (VG+)
Jack Jones - The Full Life
Jack Jones - Write me a Love Song
Joe Jackson - Night and Day (NM)
John Cougar (VG+)
Lionel Richie (NM)
Olivia - Totally Hot (VG)
Pat Benatar - Get Nervous (VG)
Steve Windwood - Back in the High Life (NM)
The Monkees (Good)
The Monkees - More of the Monkees (Good)
The Moody Blues - Long Distance Voyager (VG+)
Toto - IV (NM)

Overall, it was a pleasure dealing with Mark. Especially given the price :p

Whaaat? He hasn't even shipped them to you yet? Did you ever give him your address? He didn't even wait for payment to ship mine. He just sent them and billed me for the amount later.

Dang, I could have finagled the Bruce, Phil, and the Billy Joel?

Ha, I don't think so! My first reaction to this thread was, "Nah, just let it pass...I don't need to spend any more money." Then I looked over what I said I wanted...and I want those records!

So, here's a reminder! :D
