Its about 2 hours West of St. Louis and I do believe its Ken Track. I have only been to 1 other race and it was ARCA @ the new KC Speedway last year. 1 of our company vendors was a sponser, DynaTech, and we were invited to the company Box. Got to go to pit road and when those cars fire up it was incredible. Free Beer and Food and Beer and Beer and Beer. I think you got the picture. Even alll the Senior VP were banged up:) It was FUN.

Ya know I used to think Nascar was lame too. A bunch of cars just going around in a circle.

Then I started dating a girl whos family was into Nascar. Her Dad told me a lot about what is really going on with those cars and races. I've had respect for the sport ever since.

I'm not gonna get into details, maybe nascarman can do that. I'll just say that it's a lot more than a bunch of cars just going around in a circle. :)

I really like how Nascar says "Stock Cars" but there is nothing stock about those cars.

Set the camber to go left, pretty simple. Hold on to steering wheel while in the straightaway.

Open wheel racing is MUCH more complex engineering wise. Let's see that V8 do 15,000RPM like the engines in Indy :) Did you know that once a F1 car gets up to speed you could drive it upside down it has so much downforce? Yep.

Oh, and Steve, we've all seen SuperSpeedway, and it doesn't have to get up to full speed. A typical Indy car produces enough downforce to drive inverted, (on an upside down road) at a mere 100mph.

RACING INVOLVES MORE THAN JUST LEFT TURNS!!! NASCAR is so completely worthless. I'm with Steve, WRC or even drifting is more fun. It is boring to watch and the fact that every car is the exact same thing just sucks. WORTHLESS :supermad: !!!!!!!!

I respect your opinion. I love all racing....all. Hell....I love F1...IRL...Cart...ASA...ARCA...Hooter Pro-Cup...All Pro...USAC Midgets...USAC Sprints...World of Outlaw...NASCAR Stocks...NASCAR Modifieds...NDRA(has a new name...can't think of it)...All our local tracks...on and on.... Hell....I like to watch track and field....

If you don't like it that's OK....I'm sure you like things that I do not like.....that's what make the world go round...:cool:

My liver is FAT, and believe it or not I took the side bets and WON big in the last race: wreck-redflag and Damn my boy was up front. So I had to buy more rounds with the winnings. This was only my second trip to a track ever and I liked it more than the KC Speedway! Why???, They open the racing with individuals Racing their own Cars/Trucks or whatever. A Dodge 4X4 actually put a woopen on a Mustang, I lost that bet:LOL but then again it is Ford.
But the final 2 events were the guys with the HP and the money was passen hands. We were betting on the Top 5, Top Three and the winner. We also bet on Losers, Last, Last 2 and 3 so we had to pay attention to the both the front and back field. Good thing I remember numbers because I coulda taken a beating if I did'nt pay attention. It was the best fun I've had in a long time. The Budweiser Girls were also Great for you single guys out there but at least us married folks can take a looksie. The fireworks were lame but at least they made an effort. All in All, the crowd was excellent, no problems, mingled, played football with the kids and met a lot of good folks.
