View Full Version : Polk Audio LSi-7 monitors
No need to describe em' - you all here know what they are. These monitors have served me well for years and now its time to pass em' on.
Unfortunately they are not in 110% condition and have a few marks on the side (see pictures below). I also do not have the original box anymore - but rest assured they will be packaged well. I replaced the standard binding posts with 16guage magnet wire which proved to be a very worthwhile upgrade.
SOLD!

The 9s are what I really want, but I'm sure a decent set will come along sometime soon. I can't believe I missed out on the pair that Joey had.

Well, if these don't work out for me I'll give you first shot at them. My bro is going to end up w/2 pairs. A used pair he bought on e-bay and new pair he got at accomodation price (all within a 24 hr period). If the Cherry pair on e-bay are as described and after auditioning them in my system for a couple weeks I like 'em; I'll keep 'em, if not he's going to sell them.
I have a mental block when it comes to bookshelfs creating the scale and dynamics I'm used to with my big floorstanders. The 9's might convince me. I'd say I'll know by Thanksgiving.
Yeah, give me first chance at them. I don't care what finish they have....I like the cherry, but the ebony ain't bad. I just know that with the size of my room, the 7s are gonna have to be ran wih a sub.

Good luck with your 7s and your upcoming 9s, Noel... I'm sorry man, I shouldve posted it on the fleamarket, but I needed a quick sale at that time.
Either way, I'm sure you'll end up with a pair of the 9s someday soon.
Joey
Noel,
I look forward to your impressions!
