View Full Version : Possible blown sub voice coil?

Hey, just need some info on a sub i was playing a bass cd when subsonic bass kicked in and my sub eled, like ive never heard it do and all the bass was off at the time it still plays but is it possible it may of caused some trama to the cone or coils its a dual 4 ohm sub.

any info is welcome.

It wasnt subsonic bass because you cant hear subsonic bass.

What does eled mean?

If its still playing, it isnt blown.

eled was supposed to be led dont know why it messed up sorry mac thanks for the info.:D

mac,what im saying is my sub made a loud popping sound when playing the bass cd. And the cd says on the cover contains subsonic bass . its a cd from bass mekanik i was just wanting to know what caused it to do that cause it wasnt turned up that loud
