Can anyone tell me if this would be a good match? I noticed the CSi25 and the CSM are both 4 ohm and my receiver doesnt have a 4 ohm option so 8 ohm is my best bet.

Also i know this might be the wrong forum, but i currently have a cs175 and it sounds very empty, almost muddy during dvd playback. It has never sounded right.

I was told to switch a front channel with it and see if it sounds the same. Have yet to do that. I really want to replace this speaker if thats the culprit. Thanks

Noel

Here's an interesting statement from the CSi25 manual:

IMPEDANCE:
Nominal 4 Ohms
Compatible with 8ohm outputs
It may mean that CSi25 was meant as an 8ohm speaker, but it dips below 8 ohms to 4 ( and probably lower ) too often. Some recievers are more stable than others with such loads.

According to this list http://www.polkaudio.com/education/showanswer.php?question_num=63 CS1 matches R10's.
