Yep, first thread got to long and to many pics, lots of loading...

Here is a 3rd coat, not fully dry - hopefully I wont need to apply any more, but here it is... will wipe down with some steel wool, etc - will put another cut when dry if needed...

Nice Trey, very nice. Did you go with a natural finish or more of a golden oak finish. Hard to tell by the picture, that or I'm just getting old.

Looks great! You're almost done.

Now stop f*ckin' around, slap some wheels on it, and roll that bitch into your room.

Its a natural finish, however I was very surprised by its resemblance to golden oak - so your eyes arnt deceiving you. The wood matched golden oak putty to the T - the oak is lighter than I expected and the Walnut is even darker...

Thanks for the comments and compliments! Much appreciated!

Hehe, I would take it in my room tommorow, assuming it dosnt need another coat - but I will wait atleast a week, the fumes from that clear is sickening...

Before you put gear on it, you need to break it in.

Get one of your girlfriends and, uh, well...you figure it out.

The resulting vibrations will become hermetically sealed into the wood and help improve the sonics of your equipment.

F1, glad you think it turned out good, hearing it from you assures me I did an ok job... hehe

As for the floor, I actually want to pressure wash the entire garage - but... eh, lots to do to get to that point...

I made that mess on a patio once. Wipe a coat of paint stripper on it and rinse off after a minute. You could always make some walnut sides for your equipment, it would look great on that stand.

Looks great; you can be proud of yourself (I'm sure you are); not many kids your age would think that's a fun and rewarding hobby (and...you could easily make a GOOD living out of it).

Congrats!!!!
