 I know I am committing a sin by doing this but this is what I have. After hearing that Bose $u&$ on various audio forums I decided to buy two R15,s and a CSi25 center speaker. I have a Bose AM-10 powered sub, two jewel speakers, one AM-7 passive sub and three cubes. I want to make a Frankenstein home theater system. I was wondering if I could connect the R15's and the center speaker to the output of the Bose powered sub. If not I was going to connect the R15's and the center speaker direct to the reciever which is a Marantz SR4600. Then connect the Bose sub without the center and RL speakers with the jewels as surounds and the cubes as rears. I do like the R15's and the center better than the Bose and was thinking selling the Bose on ebay and buying the rest Polk speakers. But for now thats what I have. Any sugestions?

you can't connect the Polk to the Bose sub. (well you can, but it might damage teh Bose sub)
Do as you said, connect the Polks to your rec., sell the Bose, buy matching Polks the rest the way around.

Throw the Bose on eBay and finish the Polk system. You'll end up with a system that will sound far better than the polk/bose hybrid, and you might even come out money ahead.

I am selling all my Bose speakers on E-Bay. I already sold a pair of cube speakers. Man I am getting a lot of money. Actually more than what I paid for them. I already bought the rest of Polk speakers. Now I have
csi-25 center speaker
2 R300's front left , right
2 R150's center surrounds
2 R15's rear surrounds
and a psw-10 powered sub
I am new to this so please tell me if this setup is good. Thanks

That will sound far better than the old setup. I would however seriously consider swapping the CSi-25 for the CSR. Same MSRP for both, but the CSR is specifically designed to match the R300's and R150's. Also if it were me I would want another set of R150's in place of the R15's. I think most would agree that you would not hear much difference in a rear surround situation, but I'm just picky that way.
Other than that....GREAT MOVE. I think you will be far happier with the new rig. CONGRATS!

Personally I would want a better sub, but if you are happy with the sound, congrats. How do you think it compares to the Bose system you had? What are you using it for?
If you are happy with the current setup, that is really all that matters.
Michael.
