I know all the speakers are the same as far as same color on neg and same color on pos. on all speakers but dose it matter - on pos and + on neg. F.Y.I. I did have + amp to neg speaker and - amp to pos speaker. I switched them around and big diff. in sound.

If you mean using the wire marked (-) on the positive terminals, and the wire marked (+) on the negative terminals on ALL the speakers AND the receiver/amp, it will make no difference at all.

Exactly, it doesn't matter how you hook it up, as long as all speakers are hooked up in the same fashion. IE:, we don't care if the drivers move in or out first, as long as they all do the same thing. You'd probably be suprised how many times the phase can be inverted as the signal travels from source to amp to speakers.

Colour of the posts don't really matter as long as you stay consistant with your wiring. Harmon Kardon and some other companies are notorious for attemping to make things easier with colour coding their binding posts so you'll have a row of binding posts that looks like a friggin rainbow. I don't think they do this with too many of their actual receivers (if any) but for sure on their home theater in a boxes (hks100, 35 etc..)
