The designers that use these women should be shot. God help these women!!! ANYONE that thinks this is attractive needs to have their head examined, to say the least.

They're not, there was a big stink about the designers using women like that during one of the European shows.

I don't know, I can't see them being real. I would think at that stage of anorexia people would be hospitalized.

Wowee!!:eek: That's really scary. Some of those girls are gorgeous but they are obviously sick with that skinny crap. Very sad.

THAT'S why Spain said that models over there had to be a certain weight because of this type of image. Good for them to finally stand up and say enough is enough........hopefully these girls will get it.

Lot's of people in the fashion business need to have their heads examined for a variety of reasons, not just the use of anorexic models. Many designers will not use stunningly beautiful or even "normal" looking women in their shows because it distracts from the real star of the show: the clothes.

With regard to using top models, it is sort of a "catch-22" for designers: A famous model will add credibility, prestige, and publicity to their fashion show, but at the same time, people may come to see the model rather than the clothes.

Europeans can be freaks!!! if that is the reason why spain started the whole model minimum weight bruhaha, then spain went in the right direction. the fashion industry is some of the most selfish, evil non human scumbags. I rank them slightly higher than pedophiles, but below crack dealers.

But the clothes on those walking skeletons look like somebody dragged some drowned rats, skinned them and did a stitching job.

I'm sure the participants in the fashion industry are paid well, whether it is the designers, dressers, makeup-putter-oners (?).

But WTF ...... I suppose the guards at Buchenwald, Dachau, and Treblinka comforted themselves with the thought that they were just giving the people what they wanted.

Bravo to Spain for doing the right thing.

For their own sake, it's a shame that their faces aren't the first thing to show the ravages of their anorexia.
