Monster Power Stage Diff. ??

I am looking to buy a second power center for my second HD set and I was looking at the monster series.
My Q is what is the differnce between stage 2,3,4,5 on their units. The lights get fancier and the price goes up. But is there a difference in the protection.

The level of signal filtering is supposed to increase.

I have a 5100 it has served me well but I would not buy another Monster Product, there are many other power conditioner companies to choose from.
