Look for cables with the WBT type terminals. They have a unique outer shell with threads. You screw it on one way to tighten and unscrew it the other way to loosen.

The tighter the terminal attaches the better the connection. Why would you want it slide on and off easily?

So that you don't get a pulled muscle, break several fingernails or dislodge the connection from the back of the receiver! I've done the first 2 & have been worried about the third on occaision!
It's not going to slide off all by itself.

1. You might want to get a membership to your local gym if you've pulled a muscle by trying to dislodge an RCA connection.;)
2. I trim my fingernails... never broke any here. I'm assuming you have those cute manicured nails where I could see a problem.:)
3. If you yank on the interconnect to dislodge the connection from the back of the receiver, that is your problem. I've never seen or heard of that happening before? If you lightly pull and twist the connection without jerking it, you'll be fine.

I've found Monster's have a tight but not overly tight grip, it could have just been your production lot. You may want to try something with locking plugs that way you are provided with the best possible connection and ease of removal. Try: http://www.cobaltcable.com/audio_interconnect.htm and several other have them. I've also had good sucess with the AR's (both locking and standard) you can some of them online at: http://www.accessories4less.com/cgi-bin/category/RcaAudio and at some Best Buys

As far as I know yes all Cobalt Cables have locking connectors.. but you don't have to lock them.. they are snug enough even without wrenching down on em.
I'd email them if you want other connector ends.

you turn them clockwise to tighten down, and counter-clockwise to loosen em.
