New tubes question

Hi! I just received a new set of tubes for my cd player so… Not sure if this is the correct term but I wanted to know if these need to burn in and if so, any idea on how long it takes? As always, thanks so much for your time and opinions.

They should start to open up(flower) after 50 hours or so.

Hi; I have one more question. When you say 50 hours, is that playing a cd or can I just leave the player on?

I'd leave it playing something at low volume. You'll star to hear them opening up before then, it'll just take 50 or so to really start getting musical.

Just put in a disc and leave it repeat. You can unplug the output if you want.
