Common sense should institute in my head that creating a small review in such a short period of time is flawed.... but what does it know anyways?

I will cut right to the chase here, this cd player did improve the reproduction of the cd with greater accuracy and detail. However, though the difference was audioable, I still am having a rough time deciding if it was worth the price of the purchase, let alone taking into consideration what the retail is for one of these.

I must say, Im rather disappointed that it did not blow my socks-off, taking into consideration it was to replace my cheap mintek dvd player.

I will spend more time and obsessive listening to determine if this is a keeper, or if it will see the huge cyber thrift store...ebay..

I have yet to recieve a pre-amp for my Carver.... will wait until that is all hooked up, and every avenue is explored.

If you don't want it, I'll take it off your hands, too. Let me know how much you want for it. Read my "RT12 testing" thread and see how much improvement I got by switching interconnects and speaker wire. This could be what your system needs to get it to the next level. First, wait until you get all of your new equipment in.

It will be quite awhile before I make my final decision. As it is, there is still much to be done. At the moment things are on hold until I get the new system up and running.

Will be as precise as possible and to persist to get the best sound with what I have, because I truely do not want to sell something and kick myself in the ass later down the road.

I will be sure to keep you boys posted if I decide to part with it.

I'll swap you even for a state-of-the-art, cutting edge 15 year old Toshiba top loader. Just like a taliban rifle, never used and only dropped once.
