Ok. i want to upgrade my video card.. it says I can use a AGP or a PCI card... which would be better? Looking to do some online gaming. what should I look for? Can i get something good for under $100?

Go with AGP as it is meant for video. You can get some good cards for under 100 dollars. I suggest going to www.pricewatch.com as you can get some good deals.

Do you mean PCI or PCI-E?

If it's PCI-E, use that, it's definitely the newer standard, and much faster than AGP. Regular PCI is much slower.

bobman- if the motherboard has an AGP slot, it won't have PCI-E. Most likely he's talking about the standard PCI.

Another question for you, Al. Do you know what speed of AGP your computer supports? Is it an older machine that has the original AGP spec, or can it support AGP 4x/8x? Also, what games are you looking to play?

This is probably the most powerful card you're going to get for under $100, and it just slides in... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814145139

It makes me sad, as I paid $160 for my 6600gt, like, a year ago :(

Ah, great point, my bad.
