Anyone watch the music high definition channel on digital cable (not sure if it's available on dish)? It is channel 227 on comcast. They put on the VH1 storytellers and other live concerts (like RHCP in Milan, Isle of Wight Festival, etc.) in high def. (though not DD???). Just watched Springsteen and coldplay back to back. I'd rather watch this channel and discovery any day of the week - except Sunday's NFL games! Picture is great and even though not 5.1, still sounds great. Just thought some may be interested.

Damm dont have that by me. I have cablevision and the high def selection isn't the best. Hopefully they will add it on soon.

Currently watching Pearl Jam storytellers in 5.1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME! I guess some are mixed that way and some are not.

Its MTVHD, look out for Alicia Keys unplugged. Awesome.

We have both channels here; saw the Alicia Keys on MTVHD and that's great too.

Don't mean to prolong this thread, but saw one of the besy muscial documentaries last night. iT was a two or three hour (I had back surgery so spend a lot of time on the couch) documentary on WILCO and the release of their most recent album along with the changes in the band during the height of their popularity (kind of like "some kind of monster" - that lame documentary on Metallica). It's a band I have liked for a long time, but I think the story and how it was told was pretty cool.

Here's the link for any WILCO fans: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00008IAMJ/ref=reg_hu-wl_mrai-recs/102-9512696-1152111

Got it just a few weeks ago.

Also about 3 months ago, we got another music video channel called "The Tube" which is 24 hrs of videos...just not in HD. It's still a good channel, that plays good videos.....not the new bs on MTV(whenever they do play a video).

Good channel, but alot of repeat stuff. I notice more screen door/artifacts on this station than any other HD channels.
