FS: HSU STF-2 sub I know I'm going to hate myself for selling it, but it has been sitting in my living room unused since I upgraded my Ottoman DIY sub driver to the SVS 12.1 plus (eliminated need for a second sub, its that good......anyway, where was I?)
10" driver 200watt amp I believe, maybe alittle more or less, whatever it is, its just the right amount. what this sub does, it does VERY well. music?, hell yes, this thing makes a damn good music sub. Home theater, supposedly it wont dig as deep as the SVS PB10, but as low as it goes, it does it silky smooth, and tight as the Pope's pooper. usually blending a second sub in a room is a horror show, but with this thing, it was a snap.
I would love to hear this thing in a good set up in a small to moderate sized room. Hard to see what these have sold for because you dont see them sold very often. might very well be a reason for that, which brings me back to me possibly regretting this.
210 local pick up for a polkie, I might consider shipping this for 250.00 if I can find the original box (I'm 90% sure I have it), but I would give preference to local sale.
pics will come, there actually is one in my system showcase, shows marks that arent there due to camera flash. there are no major blemishes I know of, but if there are little marks I cant see, well, I dont care. I aint lowering the price because 210.00 aint going to get you a better sub new/used, or anything short of stealing one from another guys house.\\any questions, just ask, this is another one of those pieces that if it doesnt sell, I'll take it as a sign from the almighty.

Dynamite sub, I think this has twice the power of the VTF

Dang.. How does it compare to a 12" SVS? My room is pretty good size, probably 26 x 15, with vaulted ceilings on one half. I know it would kick the little guy I have now pw10 from Polk, but would it be a huge upgrade, or should I just save a little more for the 12" SVS?
Any comments would be appreciated. I'm interested.
I'll take it if you can ship it.

I'll look for the box over the weekend, if no local offers come in and I find the box and feel I can pack it adequately, you will be first on the shipping list.
Cool!
You locals stay away:)

I own this sub and think it's excellent. It does wonders, is smooth and seemless yet powerful enough for any moderately sized room. You don't know it's there until you are supposed to know it's there, if you follow.
As alway Darla tapping the glass shakes the entire house. Granted my house isn't big but this sub is plenty in my 15 x18 room. Music, well anything that has decent bass this thing will handle easily. You don't know it's tucked in the corner and most would think the RT800is are doing the work but noooo, its HSU in the house. I'm not really a hip-hop fan but Chris Brown and Usher never sounded so good..haha!
This is a steal for anyone who can grab it.

Yes, this will make you reseal the window panes and pick up many deshelved cds.
I agree this is a steal even with the shipping costs.
Did you purchase the sub from HSU or Comp USA?

I bought this used.
I got a local buyer interested after the holidays, so I'm going to see if that pans out
I found the box, but not the packing material and want to avoid shipping as much as possible. if this falls through, I'll contact you gwh

Did gwh show interest before me via PM? Just curious, because from the thread, it appears that I showed interest first. (This same thing just happened in another FM sale, where the guy PM'ed and I said I was interested, but I got overlooked for some reason...)
Anyways, whatever the case, I would love to be considered for this sub as well! Xmas money to burn! :D Either this, or a new SVS I think.
Thanks ohskigod!

That's why you should say you want it. "I'm interested" doesn't mean you want it. "I'll take it" to me does.

Mr Nightly,
right now the sub is in line for someone who wants it local, just wanted to do the deal after the holiday. As I noted, Local sale would trump actual responce time due to my lack of desire to ship this. in terms of the shipping order (if the local sale falls through), I have to concur with Anthony.
I reread your post, and it seemed more an informational interest, with a shout out for more knowlege to other members to make a decision. Gwh committed before you, thus making him first on the ship list.
In this scenario (and I've been there), shoot the seller a PM along the lines of "I'm interested in this, just gotta do a little research" doesnt mean they have to hold it, but most here would hold it for you unless they desperatly need the cash.
no hard feelings on my end, and I hope none on yours :)

no problemo
for future reference to anyone that wants to deal with me and has a disagreement of this nature to give me the common courtesy of a PM, because if my local seller (a forum member) punches out like gwh did, I'm gonna be a little tweaked off.

I re-read my post. you are right, I was looking for info! I was also interested, but I should have stated it more clearly. My bad, and my loss!
Anyways, if the local falls thru, please let me know! This seems like a kickin' deal!
Merry Chirstmas... ;)

I apologize for flopping around like a fish on this one.......If your local has backed out then I will take it.

Mrnighty posted ahead of me and I've been indecisive....So if you want to seal the deal with him I totally understand.
