Does anyone here know where to get a good set of tube dampers or atleast where on the net is there a store with a rather large collection of tube dampers?
I need some for my Cary 98 pre (6sn7 tubes x4)...
Thanks,
Joey

I prefer Herbie's on my gear that has exposed tubes. The Mapleshades damp more, at the expense of totally covering up the cool tube glow.

Has anyone tried Mapleshade Tube Anchors?
I was checking them out in the catalog. Is there a rubber sleeve or somthing inside the anchor or just metal to glass?
I like what Herbies sells and will try a set someday.
My preamp came with rings like the ones on ebay.
