The only ones I do not have are the SDA CRS`s

The 55i`s are my front`s on my HT rig...very nice for what I use them for

I was thinking of going all LSi for HT, as I have all the componenets.
Still kinda think that the 55i,400i center, 38i`s inthe rear and the fx30i in the middle seem to work nicely....Let`s not forget the SVS PC-Ultra !!
I just want to run all LSi`s lately !
I took the 7`s (which in my opinion are excelent speaks) out of duty on the office rig, and put in my new 9`s (black) on the tube rig in the office...the cherry 9`s are on the 2 ch SS rig in the living room..

What was the question again ?!!!!
I just got up and the 12yr old scotch I had last night still has my brain in a head lock..!!

Opinions??

Opinions pertaining to what performance aspect? Clarity? Bass performance? Specific application? Please be more specific in what you are asking for.

I have owned all four of them and currently have the CRS+ set up in two systems and the LSi9 set up as center channels in my home theater.

I have used the RT-55i in my office rigs and as surrounds and centers in my home theater.

I have used the LSi7 and LSi9 in my office rigs and also used the LSi9 as surround speakers.

I have used the CRS+ in my office rigs and as centers in my home theater.

For two channel music applications, I prefer the CRS+ by far.

Your trying to compare apples to oranges to pears.

What exactly are you looking for?

They all have their own unique qualities...

If I had to choose among the bunch?

CRS's or the LSi9's. I'd go with the CRS's though.

CRS+'s. Best soundstage, but need to be set up properly. Very adequate bass response in a smaller setting. Probably better with the 4.1TL mods. But the soundstage is awesome. Swap the tweeter and the highs are pretty smooth, too.

The RT55i is no slouch in it's own right. Ass kickin. Great bass, high end is a little bright. Soundstage is good when they are set up right, and set up is relatively forgiving...

The LSi7's are laid back, the Vifa tweeter is smooth. The Highs/mid range blend is where they shine. Seemless and warm. Good for small rooms, but placement is more critical. They need a little help for the bottom end.

The LSi 9's edge out the RT55i's in presentation and smoothness. Not quite the bass response. Soundstage is very good, but placement and set up is pretty critical. Great sound when you dial 'em in.

EXACTLY! they are all different speakers... so they are all going to sound different.. each one has it's pluses and minuses... so depends on what sound you're trying to go for.. that will help you determine which speaker would be right for you.
