Well ive made a large step in my audio world, and skipped alot of steps on the way. This is really my first experience with owning this level of equipment and it was a major purchase for me. I am hearing so much more of my music now then i knew was even there. I want to go through every CD and re listen to every track.
So the new gear is...
Onix SP3 Tube Integrated
Onix Strata Mini's Piano Rosewood Finish
Just using my Denon DVD910 player right now cause its what i have and for now it sounds great, wired with Signal Cable IC and Speaker Cables. Let me know what you guys think.
Ive only had them for a few days but so far the most noticable improvemnts are... everything! No really though, the soundstage is so much wider, i can pick out individual instruments as if they are in the room, everything is much more smooth and cymbals actually sound REAL.
Here are some pics, the quality isnt that great though.
Sweet!
Please let us know what you think after a few weeks.

Great!
Experiment with speaker placement and tow-in. A couple of inches can make a big difference. And once you start rolling tubes, you'll be hooked.

Gorgeous! I see you have some good jazz LPs over on the side wall. Is a TT the next addition to your setup?

Haha, thos LPs are my Mom and Dads im at home for break. Id love to get into Vinyl eventually but as of now there are no plans, this broke the bank and ive got enough on my plate while im in school and probably for a while later.
Thanks for the complements.
I have been moving them around some and it does make a difference. Its just hard to tell right now since the entire rig is essentiall new, its tougher to tell differences right away as opposed to swaping one component. This is my first tube experience. Love Em so far!

Wow, those speakers have a gorgeous finish on them. I'm personally terrified of running tubes. I have trouble overcoming addictions ;)
Congrats on the quality setup!

Why my one want to do this? If it's the same channel and not mixed with other cables, does it even matter? Or am I forgetting some small electrical property that would degrade the sound quality?

Thanks for all the compliments guys, it really has been quite an experience so far.
I was especially impressed with the finish. I thought it would be worth the extra money but it looks even better than i expected. The pictures really dont do them justice. Beutifull!

Very, very nice rig...once you taste the sweetness of good audio...it would be hard to give it up
WHen you coil speaker wire it basically creates some type of field or w/e that I cant remember the name of - basically turns it into an inductor...

Nice, nothing like getting some new gear and getting that feeling where you want to hear everything you own all over again

Cool system Di. The Mini's are a pretty speaker.
While Sid is right about coiling, it really doesnt apply in your situation. Rock on.

If you wrapped that same wire about 1000x around an iron/air core, you would have an inductor. There is absolutely no audible reason to worry about a couple coils of speaker wire on the floor.
You could amplify the electromagnetic field if you set that coil of speaker wire around the power transformer of your gear but I'm pretty sure you won't see that anytime soon. I thought you were one of the more sane individuals around here?
Aye, what tinkerbell said.
