I have the db690's and the db212-2. I want to know how much power i need for them. I want good amps, but not ones that will empty my bank account. I dont mind buying off ebay to get a good price either.

You can actually look up the specs on your gear in the products section, under car audio.

700 RMS for the subs and Id go with 75 RMS for the 690's.
As far as which amp, pick whichever one meets your budget, size and appearance requirements.

Be careful if you found them off Ebay or some other rip off dealer. You never know what youre getting. The good thing about Sounddomain is that theyre authorized dealers so you know youre getting brand spankin' new in box equipment with the manufacturers blessings and warranty.

You could go check out Kicker's site for authorized dealers. Some sell Kicker remanufactured products (B-stock). This will allow you to have a Kicker warranty, not as long as the regualar one, but some warranty is better than no warranty.

In some cases remanufactured products exceed the quality of a NIB item, simply because everything has to go through inspection twice, so more chances to catch something that might be wrong.
I have never had a problem purchasing refurbished items, as long as the dealer is trustworthy and backed by the manufacturer. You could also check out Outpost.com. I always recommend the site (Its actually Fry's electronics website) because when they decide to put something on clearance, they really mean to clear it out and sometimes sell for 15-20% of the MSRP and original cost. Thats a 80% discount on NIB items. They also carry the Polk db and momo lines :D, and thats always a plus
