Vintage advent Speakers

My uncle gave me 4 vintage advent speakers in walnut cases...Very great sounding and there in pristine condition. Anyone know anything about these?

The info he gave me was he spent a boatload on them at a high end speaker store which is still around and sells high end stuff.

I did look on ebay and found advent and kloss any info would help thanks

Advent made a lot of speakers. On some of them, they even wrote the model number on the back.

Historical value? Yes, if they're labeled The Advent Loudspeaker, The Smaller Advent Loudspeaker, or The New Advent Loudspeaker.

I looked on the bay i see alot of advent but none that look like mine....most of the ones on the bay the cloth grill is flush with the cabinet...mine actully stick out off the cabinet...

Pictures will help us help you. I still have 2 pairs of vintage Advents. Still one of my faves, period. I love acoustic suspension, though they usually aren't very efficient.

The original Advent bookshelf speaker is one of my all-time favorites. The grills may have been redone.
