Just got a set of db690's for a hatchback. The car is a complete beater (Best $25 ever... Well, right behind the little white pills...), and I can't afford to mount them IB, it's a hatch. I don't really like the fact that I now get to build some gaudy ass box for them. ;)
Polk issue any interior volume specs for a sealed box I can build? I couldn't find any.
*Edit*
Don't mis-understand. There is one thread about it on here. However, I wanna know what Polk has to say.

If you want to hear directly from polk, call them up or send them an email. The forum isnt really meant for customer service, more for audio/polk enthusiasts. Polk does have some of the best customer service in the business, so they shouldn't disappoint you.

I'm not looking for pissy material, constructed & designed boxes that are grossly overpriced. - Even if it is for a pair of 6x9's. Q-logic sucks, sorry.
Thanks DSkip. Guess I'll call Polk.

Dude, those are made out of 5/8" MDF. Thats exactly what you would use if you were to build them yourself. And Q Logic far from sucks, sorry.

That`s what I`m using, and the are really great little box`s !!
Just had to drill holes for th ex-over wires, then squeezed some clear sealant back in the holes
mounted the x-overs onto the sides of the boxes
got em at crutchfields....

Every Q-Logic box I have bought has had air leaks. I actually blew one on my older Kicker Solobarics (S-12C) because of this. Crutchfield was nice enough to send me a new sub and box. This was past the 30 day purchase period too. Great customer service :).
Having said that, I think their boxes are fine as long as you buy them and know that you probably have to seal them up yourself. Why not try looking at your local mom and pop shops. I've gotten boxes from them, all 3/4" MDF for very good prices.
