You could do what my daughter did: use gold glitter spray paint and put some pink fuzz around the edges of the grills. Looks very sharp.

If you're talking about applying paint over a vinyl laminate, you'll have to use a paint designed for that purpose and even then it doesn't work/last very well.

I haven't tried that one, but I can't see it being any different than the others. You'd be better off selling your rosewood colored ones and replacing them with black ones, IMO.

if i were to paint using the krylon fusion, then be sure to scuff the existing finish with something like 400 grit sandpaper first. be careful not to get any runs. and try to paint in a vertical position. horizontal introduces dust and such to settle by way of gravity. i've even had success clear-coating the krylon and wetsanding after cured. very nice. of course, i did this to the bowtie emblem on my chevy truck, not on speakers.

There are some pics after I painted my monitor 10's. So far I have had no problems and no chipping or falling off of paint. I used a brush on satin finish black from Rustoleum.

Thanks, did you sand with fine grit paper & then paint? Does those spk have that plastic veneer?

Yes to question 1 and they just had the regular veneer that the monitors came with. I just lightly sanded it and painted right over it. So far no problems and they look great.
