I have an MA Audio HK1000d amp and i have the polk db2-12 subs. the amp puts out 800 watts rms @ 2ohms 17.0v DC I have my gain setting, the bass boost setting and than two more that say sub sonic, and low pass. I was wondering what i should set them at for optimum sound quality and i really want these subs to slam hard and clear. I listen to Rap.

Also on my poineer 4800deh cd deck i have an audio seeting with freq responses of 50-125 and +6 to -24 what should tha be set as.

Left an answer in you other thread......... To start, 80Hz would be a good point for your lowpass filter, then adjust to taste. Subsonic should be set around the tuning frequency of your ported enclosure.

Little help for setting the gains on your amp, as well as good reading to learn....
