those are my speakers, i have 4 db570's rated at 60 watts rms and 180 watts peak, there is a power accoustik amp 4 channel for about one hundered and its 70 watts by 4 channels. i know its better to overpower your equiptment than underpowering it. does the peak being 180 have anything to do with how much i can overpower it? for example if i had speakers 60 watts rms and 100 peak would i want to overpower them less as if i had 180 watts peak? or does it just not matter and should i not overpower them at all? anyways if you have any suggestions on 4 channel amp brands for under 200 it would be helpful, i was thinking maybe alipine but i am unsure, and i belive polk overcharges on their amps.

Polk doesnt overcharge for their amps. Their amps are priced about the same if not less than comparable amps from other manufacturers.

The peak rating is totally worthless. Ignore it.

The best cheap amps are Profile. Any one of these will work.
