I have the klipsch RF-7's, polk audio R.T.A. MONITOR 11's, "already here" //////////// Comming is a klipsch RSW-10 powered sub 400 watts / Just bought and comming is an, Adcom GFT-555 tuner, GFP-555 preamp, GFA-555 amp 200 watts per channel, plus another GFA-555 amp 200 watts per channel with musical concepts modifications!!!! will this Jam?? or do I need more? I was thinking maybe two more RF-7's? LOL!!:eek:

That all depends on what your doing.Or trying to do.2-channel set up or are you looking to piece together 2 systems?The klipsch sound is different than the polk sound,some prefer it,some don't.Useing all of them together may sound weird in the same room.Since you have the sub to match the K-7's,use that for your 2-channel,if your going to go HT,you still need a center channel and surrounds.The monitors are great speakers on there own,to keep them in a surround duty would be a waste.Plus you have the timbre matching problem between the klipsch and polks.Pick one or the other for a seemless sound across the board.yOU HAVE SOME NICE GEAR THERE,BUT,have you given any thought on exactly what kind of system you want to end up with?

Your Marantz has preamp outputs (AND main amp IN, too), so I think you need an amp of at least 200wpc. A NAD maybe. Look for a Power Envelope. Or how about a Crown? The Klipsch are good for volume, but I'd ditch the Monitor 11's and look for Cerwin Vega.

Sorry, couldn't resist. The above is a joke. This is serious though: If you are just looking for more volume, why are you wasting your time with HiFi equiment? Pro sound is where the volume is. Couple hundred Watts into some 107db efficient speakers-- there you go.

I promise if you met me in person, you would love me. most say I am one of the most loyal and true friends they have. Us cajuns "coon-ass's" love to joke, and kid around and yes some time 's rib!!! That said, The polk's were givin to me, and I had them fixed. so i just could not let them sit there without at least trying them w/ the klipsch, and while they dont sound like "ass" you can hardly hear them next to the rf-7's the do fill in a little, sepreatly both sound good but it takes it takes almost twice the volume on the knob about 12 o'clock to produce the same "loudness" as the klipsch make at 9 o'clock. just trying what I have and playing around right now, wating on a ton of stuff to come in as we speak!!! oh!!! I really dont like quad or all this T.V. STUFF it has it's place of course, but in my opinion it was the death of stereo. I mean try to go in any place and ask the kid selling the equipment, where's the two channel audio, and "around here at least" they look at you like youe crazy!!!

They are completely different speakers. The ADCOM's are awsome, i have one and love it. Listen for yourself and decide what you like, that's all there is too it. Do what you want to do.

Maybe George and Tony were being a little sarcastic, but I of all people should know that because I love to joke around and rib people (your words).

Take special note of the use of punctuation and also don't lose sight of the fact that you could have gotten your point across without using any of the aforementioned curse words. Jack-ass pretty much summed it up.

Thank you Tony that's probably the best answer so far, it seem's that when I said I wanted it to be louder I guess people assumed I wanted some cheap junk that was just blareingly loud and distorted. not so, I guess I was trying to see if all this new stuff would be loud, clear, full, sweet,...That's about it. And by the way I am sorry for offending anyone here, I never wanted it to go there.
