Nice to see them get back into high end separates.

They took a 5803 box, took out the amp section, and packed it with all the latest electronics and hdmi 1.3 goodness. Wow.

And as if 7 channels of home theater amplification wasn't enough, they packed an even bigger box with 10 channels of amplification stable to 4 ohms.

I saw that the other day. I'm very interested in the amp, and it's 4 ohms stable bridged 5x300 watts.

I purchased a Denon POA-2400 (200x2) in 1989 to power my SDA1C's. Over the years I have tried Parasound, Adcom, and Rotel of the same rating, and I have always stuck with the Denon. It just sounded better, and always seemed to have more power than the others.

But do to it's age, I am looking for a nice 5 channel to replace it. I wonder if the new one is common ground?
