A few months ago Heiney9 and DKG999 stopped by my house for some listening, and H9 brought a pretty sweet CD of nice demo tracks. I stopped by H9's place today to get a copy of the CD and got a really quick listen of his Lsi9's.
:D So, this was my first good experience with any of the LSI line. All I've got to say is woa! There is some serious sound coming from those little boxes. Neither of us had much time to hang out for too many tunes, but I got enough to seriously wet my appetite. First of all, where the hell does that bass come from? I think H9 hid a sub behind his TV.
Also, this was my first experience with the imaging of the Lsi's. I get it now. The soundstage was full and you could see in your mind the location of all of the instruments. I didn't realize a bookshelf speaker could sound so good. ... so smooth.
So, I'm still pretty excited about my Rti setup in my basement. I threw the CD in when I got home and, while it sounds great on through the ADCOM and all, I understand the strength of the imaging of the LSi's now.
LSi's are where the 2 channel is at. Thanks again H9.
