I got a Polk MOMO MM12 that came with the custom box running on an MTX 6500D amp, and whenever I turn the volume up the sub hits the grill. It's not even playing that loud, but you can hear it buzzing. Is there something I can do to help this? It's kind of annoying with the distortion from the contact with the grill.
The woofer is defective and
I would recommend returning the sub to your dealer. We will have replacement systems in stores by mid September.
If you have any questions regarding this problem, give us a call at 800-377-7655 between the hours of 9 AM to 6 PM Eastern time and we will be glad to help. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks,
Kim

Hi im new.... I just got 2 mm120's and I plan to get some chrome grills for my new subs. BTW they are the Audiobahn sun looking ones. Are those gonna be too close to the subs when im "bumpin" them and the excursion makes em hit? Would I need to get some grills from POLK or anything?
I am not familiar with the Audiobahn grilles, but try them out first. If the cone hits the grille you can purchase our G12 grilles for your subs. The cost of the grille is around $ 20.00 each.
Thanks,
Kim
