wondering what would be a good offer on the Adcom pieces? how are these Adcom components? not a lot on the adcom pre and amp there both lower end adcom pieces. if you could get both for 250- 300 it would be an ok deal perhaps. the amp is a 80wpc amp cost $425.00 new. REGARDS SNOW

Those models of Adcom's are a generation newer than their most reveared series. Definitely no more than $300.

thanks for the info...is there actually a turntable/cassette of this model #? are they also low-end? im not sure if adcom made a casette player with that model #. i dont think so but if they did it would have little value. casette players unless its the nakamichi dragon or something similar have very little value. i dont think they make turntables either.i could be wrong on this. if i am someone speak up. as far as her claim to having spent 5k on that ensemble. i cant see 5k retail there myself. you have a 600 preamp tuner.a amp that was 425. and a cd player that retailed at 300. where is the other 3700. at? maybe 1k on speakers which i doubt, i guess 600 on those new. that would still leave 2700. on what?
