I recently purchased a Jolida 1301 , and thinking about a comment made here in th FM about "if you have a pair of RT2000i`s , your golden" type of thing , sooooo

I put a new pair of Ei Gold Pins in the Jolida, hooked up the Jolida CDP, and the Nak Reciever to the RT2000i`s, and WOW !

Using the AQ King Cobra`s as I/C`s...

The sound just floored me !
I wasn`t expecting much from the little Jolida integrated, but was pleasantly suprised..:)

I haven`t had the 2000`s hooked up for quite a while and have now found thier new match..
The Jolida has alot more oomph to it that I thought it would..

I guess it`s true when they say, "size doesn`t matter as long as you work the walls"...!!!!

I`m not shakin the walls, but it has a very full, rich sound...and plenty of power to run the 2000i`s...

It`s nice to get a suprise like this !
Even the wife liked it, and wouldn`t believe me when I said it was all comming from that little unit !!

You both told me...and you were both right..!

It`s a keeper...
she will be the 2000i`s power for a while..

I was thinking of making my Uncle a rig, and this one seems to be a winner !

I am more impressed with Jolida than most other manufacturers when it comes right down to making music at a reasonable cost. Add a little synergy with the speakers and you are set.

I recently bought two used Jolida 502B integrated tube amps, a used Jolida 50A remote control passive preamp unit and a new Jolida JD 100 tube CD player. I've been impressed with all of them. To me they represent the same type of value as the Polk LSi line of speakers: basically audiophile quality at a rational price point. I have ordered, and eagerly await the arrival of a Jolida tube phono preamp. No doubt, better equipment exists, but for me, Jolida tube gear represents the "sweet spot".

The Jolida has alot more oomph to it that I thought it would..

I have the 100 watt version, JD1501 RC, and it seems much more powerful than 100 watts per. I do believe Jolida rates their stuff very conservatively. ;)

Very cool. Most tube amps have trouble controlling the woofers in some speakers, but since your 2000i's are powered, they have the extra headroom to boogie. The amp is just powering the mids and tweets. I remember hearing the 1000i's and really liked the sound. I bet your 2000's sound killer.
Enjoy!

His power amp section in that integrated is SS though. It's a hybrid with a tubed pre section, the best of both worlds IMO.

I just purchased a Jolida 801 and was amazed at the quality of sound. Rated at a conservative 70 watts per this unit is sweet. Swapped the original 6550's for a set of matched Tung Sol 6550 and the 12ax7 and 12at7's for Electroharmonics. Thinking of sending it off for a mod to add a sub output to use my Velodyne ULD-15 complete with servo and interconnect cable. Have yet to connect my SDA-2's but that is coming soon.

Robert,

I swear man... you're adding up the gear count. Nice Jolida find though.... I was looking at something similar for my system a few months ago, not sure if you recall.

First the Cary 80, now the Jolida... what's next?

:D

Then I`m working on some Cary mono Blocks...!!! ;)

Ooooh... the 98F1.... damn you! That's a one up if I have ever seen one! J/K my friend... go for it.. if the stock 98 is already awesome, I'm sure Upscales version is even sweeter.

And the PS1000 is something I've looked at...

But those Cary Monoblocks are a little too pricey for me.

Man... you won the Lotto or something??

Awesome!

Naw...
Would be nice though.

Just saving up and getting all my little ducky`s lined up !
I have a few things to sell first, but I`m really on it this time..

The Cary V12R F1`s are looking real good..

The 211 Anniversary Mono`s are what I really want ...
I just have to dig up 9-10k first..!

Might take a minute ...
