Just purchased a refurbished one on-line. Got it all hooked up, and as long as it is in Stereo mode it works great.
Whenever I switch to any other mode (Dolby Digital, DSP, ETC), it will work fine for a period of time (no certain amount, could be 10 minutes, could be 10 seconds), but then it will emit a high pitch tone through the speakers. If I hit pretty much any button on the remote to change something, it comes back.
The only thing I found on the net was one other example of this, and the guy bought it from the same place I did, but he had no resolution, other than sending it to Denon.
Just seemed odd to me that I would have the exact same problem, which sounds to me like a) some setting/cable is wrong or b) there is a defect on this model (which seems like a stretch since it's a couple years old).
Again, thanks for any help anyone could provide.
