Hey guys,

I revised the system showcase gallery so that when you click a picture it creates a slideshow of all of the images. Take a look and let me know what you think or if you have any problems viewing it. I think it looks pretty cool. This feature can also be found on the customer and polk car galleries Thanks.

Pretty cool, doesn't seem to be loading up all the images on the page though for me. Am running Firefox 2.0.0.1

It doesn't work properly on my computer. I tried millerman 3732 and kmartin971. In both instances I clicked on the picture in the upper left (1st pic.) and the slideshow would take me down the vertical row on the left side and stop on the picture in the lower left corner. The rest of the pictures were not part of the slideshow.

Looks great. Is there any way to put a small border around the text at the bottom of the picture (or force the slideshow to full screen in another tab or browser). Since it does not run full page, The text can be hard to read when it overlays other text in the background.

Much nicer than not having it though... Great job.

Michael

Edit - click on the quote in my signature to see what I mean. (maybe I just have to much text and not enough pictures... :) )

For anyone making a website theres an open source version of this. It's called lightbox JS and is available Here (http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/). I've used it on a few pages and people always seem to like it.

Thanks Patrick for adding this into the site. It's a great way to view a group of photos.

Michael_w is right however the open source version will not work with databases. So you if you have a bunch of static images this is great. But if you are pulling the images and associated information from a database you are going to have to modify the code :)
